So, what we have basically elected to do is kind of a three-pronged approach here. What I've found is that once Skype has been installed, it's way more trouble than it's worth to remove it. If Skype was brought onto the machine as part of our Office installation (via O365), they could not remove Skype without removing the full Office suite. Guys on our desktop support team have tried working with our Kace system to remove Skype from workstations and had success ONLY if Skype was installed from a standalone installer. What I'm curious about, is how we will disable/uninstall/block the use of Skype for Business once we officially make the switch. We are migrating all of our Slack users into Teams and expect to have everyone cut over, exclusively to Teams within the next month or so.
